Legacy Advantage High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA) provides traditional medical coverage and a tax free way to help you build savings for future medical expenses. The HDHP-HSA gives you greater flexibility and discretion over how you use your health care benefits.

And Legacy Health Plan has partnered with Health Equity to provide the web tools and information necessary for consumers to manage the financial side of their health care. Employees who enroll in a Legacy Advantage HDHP-HSA will receive a VISA smart card funded by their savings which they can use to pay for any qualified medical expenses. In addition to robust online banking tools, Legacy Advantage populates each members account with their medical and pharmacy claims so that they have a permanent record of their claims accessible at any time. LEGACY Advantage HDHP features higher annual deductibles, $1,250, $2,000, $2,500, $3,000 and $5,000 than other traditional health plans. Depending on the HDHP you choose, Legacy will pay 100% or 80% of your medical costs after you’ve met your high deductible. Using in-network providers will save you money. With the exception of preventive care, you must meet the annual deductible before the plan pays either 100% or 80% of your medical expenses. LEGACY Advantage covers preventative services such as a wellness exam, pap smear, mammography, PSA test and age appropriate colonoscopies.
